For the first few Majestic years, entertainment continued to be led by Redcoats. When Butlins found out, they threatened
to take Majestic to court as they have a trade mark on the term. So the Redcoat was finally removed from Barry Island to make
way for the Bluecoat. Bluecoats continued to be an important part of camp life to the end in 1996.
